PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS

Art with Heart is available to conduct trainings or workshops for therapists, mental health workers, educators or parents. Art with Heart is also able to provide speakers at your events or conferences. The authors of the books “Oodles of Doodles” and “Chill & Spill” can also be available to visit your school and discuss the books with the children or their parents. Subjects include, but aren’t limited to:

• Managing the Aftermath of School Crisis
• Recruiting & Facilitating Counseling Groups for Middle and High School
• Recognizing the Effects of Stress on Adolescents
• Teens and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
• The Effect of Serious Illness on Siblings

We can discuss your specific requirements and advise on a workshop program to suit your needs. Half-day workshops can be tailored to the needs of your audience and provided on request at locations across North America, depending upon your budget (note that there are speaker fees and travel/accommodation costs typically associated with this service).
