Jeannie Jeannie Nordstrom is a former elementary school teacher and an active community volunteer. Jeannie’s devotion to community service is far reaching extending to her involvement in the Washington Women’s Foundation, Friends of Cancer Lifeline, the YWCA of Seattle-King County-Snohomish County, Islandwood Environmental Learning Center, and as a Purrfect Pals Foster Parent.

She and her husband Bruce rescue, foster and place at-risk animals, to date more than 500 kittens and countless dogs. Jeannie and Bruce, retired Chairman, Board of Directors of Nordstrom, Inc., live in Seattle.

barbara-wollner.jpgBarbara Wollner is a self-taught intuitive artist who creates two-dimensional art with her paint palette and food art with her culinary skills on the dinner plate. Her canvases depict colorful faces which she captures from her dreams, her interactions with people she meets, and her daily travels through local farmers’ markets. She is an accomplished cook who delights in sharing culinary creations around her table. Her professional experiences have included restaurant management, AIDS fund raising, art glass sales and community involvement in Atlanta, GA; Seattle, WA; and Healdsburg, CA. Barbara has focused her energy, skills and resources towards contributing creatively to the communities in which she lives. She practices yoga and is married to Howard Wollner, a retired Starbucks executive, and has a wonderful stepdaughter named Alessandra who will be attending Brown University in January, 2008.

Jeanean JacobsJeanean Jacobs, MA, ATR-BC, CPAT, CPC is a certified Art Therapist, a professional coach, juvenile sexual offender counselor, Life Space Crisis Intervention Counselor, Safe Crisis Manager and cultural diversity trainer.. She is a former board member of Art with Heart and is the co-author of Chill & Spill and the Therapist’s Companion to Chill & Spill. Jeanean served as the Director of both the Transitions and Independent Living programs at the YMCA of Greater Seattle, helping foster care teens as they transitioned out of the system. She currently holds the position of Treatment Foster Care and Independent Living Services Director, Senior Leadership Team at Maryhurst in Kentucky.

CR DouglasEmcee C.R. Douglas, the host of City Inside/Out, the SEATTLE CHANNEL’S weekly news/interview program. He also serves as a reporter for the Seattle Channel and hosts the monthly call-in program, Ask the Mayor. C.R. has also appeared numerous times in local media as a political analyst, including KCPQ-TV, Northwest Cable News, KING-TV, KONG-TV, KIRO Radio, and KPLU Radio. C.R. has been named “The Charlie Rose of Seattle” by Seattle Magazine; “Best On-Air Interviewer” by the Seattle Weekly; “Forty under 40: Emerging Leaders” by the Puget Sound Business Journal; and was nominated for an Emmy Award (NW Region) in spring of 2007.

Diana19 year old Diana was first introduced to Art with Heart at Children’s Hospital during one of her frequent visits. Diana is a fan of both Oodles and Chill & Spill and graduated from the YMCA foster care Independent Living Program. She is a sophomore at Seattle University and is majoring in pediatric nursing.
